Askariya shrine bombed again!

On February 22, 2006, Sunni terrorists blew up the gold dome on the Askariya shrine in Samarra. The shrine is where buried are two Imams, Imam Ali al-Hadi and Imam Hassan al-Askari. Before the gold dome was destroyed and now yesterday the two minarets were destroyed. Just like before, the terrorists want to tell the Shi’a “We hate you, we hate your religion and your imams.” They want to kill all Shi’a. They want to tell us that nothing good will ever happen for the Shi’a. Both Imam Ali al-Hadi and Imam Hassan al-Askari were oppressed during their lives because of their beliefs. And now the Sunni terrorists want everyone to know that the Imams will still not have peace, even as they rest in the shrine! These terrorists say that there was no peace for the Imams and there will not be today, and no peace for the Shi’a from the time of these Imams until today.

After the February 22 bombing of the shrine, sectarian violence was much worse in Iraq. The Mahdi Army thought it could help by killing Sunnis and kicking them out of their homes. That is not help. After that terrorist attack, Sayyid Sistani said that if the government cannot protect the shrine then someone else should. Even today the government cannot protect the shrine. How did it happen? How were the terrorists able to do this? Someone needs to protect the shrine in Samarra and the holy sites everywhere else. If the government cannot do it then someone else should.

So yesterday I see this Konfused Kid talking about me on his blog. Of course he calls me sectarian and I am not surprised to see this. He is showing us he can color names in different colors and I hate blogs with black background coloring. Konfused Kid is talking about Sayyid Hakim. I also think it is suspicious how some people act like Hakim is healthy because I always thought that lung cancer is very serious and not cured. Still I of course hope for good health for him, unlike Konfused Kid.

When we talk about who would be head of SIIC if not Hakim, it is interesting because I talked about this a few days before and maybe he got that idea from me, or should have, because he did not mention that Sheikh Homam Hammoudi could be the leader of the Council. I do not think that looks would be one reason to pick a leader, but he disagrees with me. I think it is what being in Jordan for a long time makes you think, I do not know. I do not agree with this Konfused Kid but still he is talking about men’s looks and also "a smiling dude who looks a lot like high-school homosexual cannon fodder". He should be careful in Jordan with all of these Jordanians and Palestinians who are looking for a smiling Iraqi man who plays music for some reasons, I am scared for him.

Were they Sunni terrorists? Are you sure? Did they have SUNNI written all over them and leave their business cards behind? Are you sure?

by the way somebody has came to give you some competition for your status as the most sectarain blog ever award, see Iraqi Blog Count for more details :D

may we dance at Hakim's funeral just like we danced at Saddam's.

and remove comments moderation

Hello anonymous,

Yes, they did leave business cards.

Thank you for your visit.

Hello Konfused Kid,

Even when Sayyid Hakim does die, and all of us will, the rest of the Shi'a will still be here.

I will write about this Layla Anwar on IraqBlogCount and will write later on what "sectarian" means to many of the people.

I will leave comments moderation because I love it now, sorry.

Some comment on your site from A&Eiraqi says that I have a war on you but it is not true. I don't like a lot of your talking but still I afraid that the Jordanians and Palestinians "men" will try to use you for certain disgusting purposes. So be careful. Also A&Eiraqi will criticize Ibrahim al-Ja'fari but this man Ja'fari is at least a old fighter against Saddam and has more honor than the prostitute Allawi or any Ba'thist or Tawafuq son of a bitch.

Thank you for your visit.

Dude i don't think you have war against me habibi, i love your presence on the blogosphere, you must understand that i do not hate Shia but i hate al-Hakim family, this does not mean i hate all Shiites, as a matter of fact, i thought Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim was an impressive and charismatic speaker. however, your resorting to childish accusations of gay molestation to defend Katkut Hawza is kinda weak. the man looks really like a child who has never grown outside molestation, he probably got an erection when the americans were fiddling down his pants :D

thank you for your replies. and please remove moderation.

Hello Konfused Kid,

I do not understand if you hate the Hakim family but not Sayyid Mohammad Baqir al-Hakim? And what do you think on his father? By the way, when you and others people say that Sayyid Hakim is only for Shi'a and hates everyone else, you should remember that Grand Ayatollah Mohsen al-Hakim said that people should not fight the Kurds, who are most Sunnis.

I do not like your details of American inspection, it is gross. I am not accusing you of being molested, I just am scared because I think that these Jordanians and Palestinians "men" probably want to. You know many of they are bad people with sick problems.

Thank you for your visit, I think we will talk again soon.

Also to Konfused Kid, someone else told me they think that Adil Abdul-Mahdi would be head of SIIC after Sayyid Hakim, so I have heard Sheikh Homam Hammoudi and Abdul-Mahdi.

Shaqawa,

I guess we won't be able to talk you out of dropping moderation, but let me give you my reasons why you might want to change your mind. First, people like to see their comments added immediately. It's just how people are. They like to see what their sentences look like and if anyone is going to respond. But they don't like to wait a day to view their ideas in print. Second, people are often responding at the same time and thus a kind of live dialogue takes place, something that cannot happen with moderation. And third, live dialogues help attract people to your blog. They will stop coming if the have to wait for 24 hours before seeing their comments added.

Listen, along with Konfused Kid, I see your point of view as really important to the Iraqi blogosphere (there have been more Sunni voices than Shia ones), but moderation will only make fewer people stop by.

I've been commenting in the Iraqi blogosphere for four years and running IBC for three years and I've seen moderation ruin blogs, so I ask you, at least, to reconsider your decision on moderation. But, in the end, it's your call. If you're more comfortable with moderation, then so be it. But I'm afraid that you will exhaust the patience of many commenters who would like to respond on the comments pages.

I saw Imam Mahdi hiding in a well and he told me to tell you to pour liquid gold on the 11 other graves and to worship them and make temples of diamond abover their graves.

Shaqawa,
What is going on between Sadr and Sistani? Can you clarify the situation a bit?

Hello Jeffrey,

I will think about ending the moderation. Before though I thought to keep it just because I want to be a khabeeth with Konfused Kid. There are more Sunni bloggers I think, and this is why a Saddam lover criminal blog is not called as sectarian as me, interesting!

Hello Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyte,

It seems to me you are a liar and bastard and maybe the twin sister of Shia Power, another jackass with many problems. I think you should hide in a well, and drown. I think I saw your father hiding in a hole like Saddam, crying about having children who shame the entire family.

Hello TaSS,

I have many things I want to write about. I will try, thank you for the idea.

Thank you to all of you for your visits.

You make a very good point, I believe. And that's why I like Mojo and you blogging. I've got nothing against Sunni dentists, but they are over-represented, it seems, in the Iraqi blogopshere.

There are more Sunni bloggers in the Iraqi blogosphere. Why is that?

Iraqi Mojo said...

It's interesting that Sunni Arab bloggers started calling it "sectarian violence" only after February 2006. Have you watched Zeyad's interview with Charlie Rose?

ahmed said...

Hey...

1. yes, there are more Sunnis here, and that is unfortunate.

2. i gave you the award because while other bloggers are sectarain, it's not as immediate and obvious as you are, you are unabashedly vicious, especially earlier on, nobody has called the Shiites 'sons of mut3a' like you called Sunnis 'Sons of muawayia' as far as i am concerned.
and we did call Layla Anwar a sectarain and she is a fair representation of the other side of bigotry.

3. I am not a fucking dentist.
4. Remove moderation.

maybe if you come here one day we'll play pool and the Sunnis will win at it, wu da3at ali.

Shaqawa said...

Hello Konfused Kid,

I did not call all Sunnis "sons of Mu'awiya", just those who are uniting against the Shi'a like Dulaimi and the people at his conference in Turkey. I did not say that you are a dentist. Now I am very happy about moderation as I am a khabeeth and a shaqawa. Maybe now I will also say "hello Dentist" to be a khabeeth. I think if we play sports matches in Jordan then the Sunnis will always win, because of where it is, haha. Also, I would rather play football. Did you see that Iraq and Iran played in Amman?

I will talk to you later.

Kid,

3. I am not a fucking dentist.

Heh heh heh.

Careful now. Next time you have to go to the dentist and they look at your chart, you may see the dentist's eyebrows go up when he finds out that you've been accused of making anti-dentite remarks. Remember, the dentist holds the drill!

i will never go the dentist again becuase simply put they have already did everything there is in the book of every tooth that is in my mouth. and they took a fortune.

Hi Shaqawa-
I vote "no" on the comment moderation. I think you would still be able to delete comments if they were offensive to you or if you just wanted to piss somebody off.

It would be very interesting to see you and Kid have an exchange in near-real-time. I think the appropriate phrase we use in America is "busting each others' balls".

So if you're not in the IA or IP, and not a dentist, what do you do?
