Congragulations for your Futball team over the wahhabist scum bags of Saudi Arabia, may it be a sign of things to come, IE an Iraq not only of freedom but also of strength.

I was told by an Omani on a website I visit that most Iraqis wish Saddam Hussein were still in power. He even said that half the Shia and half the Kurds in Iraq would agree with this.

What do you think?

don't know who you're asking, but imho,
you need to do a lot more research.. ie:

Despite violence only 26% preferred life under Saddam

excerpt:

[What about talk of creating a federal Iraq? With the exception of the Kurdish population in the North of the country a majority (64%) support Iraq remaining as a single country run by a central national government. On this point Sunnis (57%) and Shias (69%) agree that the country should continue as one nation.]

Iraqis: life is getting better

excerpt:

[Only 27% think there is a civil war in Iraq, compared with
61% who do not, according to the survey carried out last
month.]

there's much more.. will try
& post some more info later..

jeff, I wouldn't be surprised if half of Shia and Kurds would take Saddam back today. The killing is insane, and I wonder if it will get worse.

What do you think, Shaqawa?

oh please.. where have you been??

Iraqi citizens are cooperating with MNF (us & iraqi forces) in turning in AQ & insurgents, caches, etc.. by the hundreds.. both Sunni & Shia are coming together in what's been dubbed the Iraqi Awakening & have vowed to rid Iraq of terrorists of all ilk via joining the forces via forming their own neighborhood watches & assisting the MNF.. you really need to read other blogs.. ones you can actually get real information about what's really going down on the ground in Iraq..
